San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca (also known by the name of Catamarca) is an Argentinian city located within the Province of Catamarca. It is the capital, and most populated city of the province, with an estimated population of 160,000 inhabitants.

The city of San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca is located near other locations such as:  El Rodeo, Juan Bautista Alberdi, Monteros, Aguilares, Concepción, La Cocha, Hullapima, San Miguel de Tucumán, Termas de Río Hondo, Santiago del Estero and La Rioja.

The city of San Juan is the capital of the homonymous province (Province of San Juan) and is located in the Argentina region of Cuyo, in the centre of the country.

The province has a population of around 680,000 inhabitants, thus, becoming the 13th most inhabited province of Argentina. Like Mendoza, is bordered to the east by the Cordillera de Los Andes, and also stands out in the area of vitiviniculture, as well as the Province of Mendoza.
