Villa Mercedes (also known simply as "Mercedes") is an Argentinian city located in east-central province of San Luis, within the Cuyo area. The city has around 100,000 inhabitants.

Although Villa Mercedes  is not characterised for receiving many tourists and visitors, in recent years, the number of persons who visit the city has continued to climb.

Villa Mercedes is close to other locations such as: La Toma, City of San Luis, Villa Dolores, Río Cuarto and Vicuña Mackenna.
