La Plata is a city located within the Province of Buenos Aires, and is the capital city of the Province of Buenos Aires. The city is located to the north of the province, within about 60 km from the City of Buenos Aires.

Mar del Plata is an Argentinian city located in the Southeast Province of Buenos Aires, on the coast of the Argentinian Sea. It is the second city in Argentina with the largest number of visitors, only after the capital of the country, the City of Buenos Aires.

Most of the tourism in the city is due to the beaches and spas, therefore, in the Argentinian summer, it's when the city receives most of the tourists, during high season.
