Information about Tucumán:

The City of San Miguel de Tucumán is the capital of the Province of Tucumán, it is also known as "El Jardín de la República" (Garden of the Republic).

Although as an Argentinian province it may seem small in terms of size, the city is the 5th most populated in the country, with more than 600,000 inhabitants. The province of Tucuman is located in Northeast Argentina, and the city, at the same time, is located in the center of the province.

Despite being a relatively small province, the city has several tourist attractions, some of the most visited are: Parque Sierra de San Javier, Casa de Gobierno de Tucumán, Parque 9 de Julio, Casa Histórica de Tucumán and Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Merced, among some other landmarks.

As a curious fact, the City of Tucuman is called the Garden of the Republic because of the abundant vegetation of the city and the region, due to the climate of Tucuman (high humidity and precipitations).

Information about Corrientes:

The city of Corrientes is the capital and most highly populated city within the Province of Corrientes. The province is located in northeast Argentina, and the city, at the same time, is located in the southwest region of the province, practically bordering the Province of El Chaco, the City of Resistencia, only separated by the famous Paraná River.

Corrientes is very close to localities such as: Resistencia, General José de San Martín, Formosa, Posadas, Mercedes, Oberá, Bella Vista and Villa Angela. It is also near Paraguayan towns (Asunción, Encarnación, Pilar, San Ignacio) and Brazilian ones (Foz do Iguaçu, Cascavel, Chapecó and Santa María).

Although it is not among the most visited cities in the country, the number of visitors has been increasing over the last couple of years. Some of the most visited and popular points when traveling to Corrientes are: Costanera de Corrientes, Puente General Manuel Belgrano, Catedral de Corrientes, Shopping Centenario, Esteros de Iberá and Balneario Paso de la Patria, among other points of interest.

It is also normal to carry out activities such as: fishing, excursions, especially because of the nature in the north of Argentina.
